Attendance by Chairman Lee Jaeyong, Chairman Chung Euisun, and Others
On the 4th, President Lee Jaemyung will meet with the heads and executives of the nation’s top 10 conglomerates, including Samsung Electronics, SK, Hyundai Motor, and LG, to encourage youth employment and regional investment.
The presidential office announced on the 3rd that President Lee will hold a "Corporate Roundtable on Expanding Youth Employment and Regional Investment" at 2 p.m. that day at the main building of the presidential office.
The roundtable will be attended by a large number of leaders and executives from the top 10 business groups in Korea. Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jaeyong, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Euisun, and LG Group Chairman Koo Kwangmo are scheduled to be present.
President Lee is expected to call on domestic companies to take an active role in creating jobs for young people. He will also request that they increase investment in production facilities located in non-capital regions.
Previously, on January 28, President Lee invited foreign-invested companies to the presidential office, where he encouraged them to expand youth employment and increase investment in regions outside the greater Seoul area.
