SK Chemicals is strengthening its pharmacy sales capabilities in the over-the-counter (OTC) business sector through collaboration with other pharmaceutical companies.
On February 3, SK Chemicals announced that it had signed a joint sales agreement with Kyungnam Pharm for the allergy rhinitis treatment 'Nozeal Soft Capsules.' Under this agreement, Kyungnam Pharm will be responsible for pharmacy-focused sales and marketing of Nozeal, which SK Chemicals had previously distributed via a pharmaceutical order platform.

Kyungnam Pharm has a solid foundation in OTC marketing and sales, boasting a sales organization with 11 branches nationwide and an extensive pharmacy distribution network. The company offers a diverse portfolio of pharmacy brands, including the vitamin C brand 'Lemona,' as well as energy tonics, sore throat treatments, and athlete's foot remedies. SK Chemicals expects that this collaboration will further strengthen the distribution and sales of Nozeal Soft Capsules in pharmacies.
Nozeal Soft Capsules is an OTC product with fexofenadine as its main ingredient, used to relieve allergic rhinitis symptoms caused by pollen, house dust, and other allergens. Fexofenadine is considered to have a lower incidence of sedative effects, such as drowsiness, compared to previous-generation antihistamines. Its reduced burden on the liver is also seen as an advantage.
