On February 3, T'way Air announced that it is currently recruiting for the following positions: ▲Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Entry-Level Intern) ▲Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Experienced) ▲Aircraft Maintenance Parts Repair Technician (Experienced) ▲Aircraft Maintenance Instructor (Experienced).
The entry-level intern maintenance technician will be responsible for aircraft line maintenance. Applicants must have already graduated or be scheduled to graduate by August 2026, hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Airplane) license issued by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and possess a valid foreign language test score. After working for one year as an intern, candidates may be considered for permanent employment upon review.
Applicants for the entry-level intern position who hold type ratings for B737NG, B737-8, or A330 aircraft, demonstrate strong foreign language proficiency, possess a driver's license, or have experience as a non-commissioned officer in aircraft maintenance will be given preference.
The experienced maintenance technician recruitment is for those who will handle aircraft line maintenance duties. Candidates must possess an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Airplane) license from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and have experience in type-rated maintenance for B737, A330, or B777 aircraft. Applicants must also have at least six months of aircraft maintenance experience within the past 24 months.
The experienced aircraft maintenance parts repair technician position involves aircraft airframe repair work. Applicants must hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Airplane) license from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, have at least five years of experience in airframe repair, and possess experience in wheel and tire repair.
The experienced maintenance instructor position is responsible for aircraft maintenance training. The company is recruiting candidates who have experience in type-rated maintenance for B777, B737, or A330 aircraft, as well as at least five years of experience as a professional instructor.
Anyone who meets the eligibility requirements and has no restrictions on overseas travel can apply for the maintenance technician positions at T'way Air. The application deadline for entry-level intern maintenance technicians is 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11. The experienced maintenance technician, maintenance parts repair technician, and maintenance instructor positions are open for rolling recruitment and will close once hiring is complete.
