At approximately 6:24 p.m. on February 2, a fire broke out in a hillside area near Sugok-ri, Gunbuk-myeon, Haman County, South Gyeongsang Province.
At around 6:47 p.m., Haman County sent out an emergency disaster alert, urging, "Due to the spread of the forest fire in Sugok-ri, residents in the vicinity are advised to immediately evacuate to the Sugok Village Community Center."
