Cosmax Named to TIME's "2026 World's Most Sustainable Companies" List

Selected as One of the World's Top 500 Companies
Ranked 6th Among Korean Firms... Demonstrates Both Financial Soundness and Sustainability

Cosmax Named to TIME's "2026 World's Most Sustainable Companies" List

Cosmax, a global cosmetics ODM (Original Development Manufacturing) company, announced on January 29 that it has been named one of the "2026 World’s Top 500 Sustainable Growth Companies" by the U.S. current affairs weekly magazine TIME.

Each year, TIME collaborates with global market research firm Statista to comprehensively analyze ESG performance and publish a list of the top 500 companies. The analysis covers more than 4,000 companies worldwide, evaluating factors such as revenue growth rate, financial stability, and environmental impact.

In this year’s assessment, Cosmax ranked 346th, placing it in the top 8% and marking its first entry into the top 500. Among the 23 Korean companies on the list, Cosmax ranked 6th. It also achieved 10th place in the global cosmetics sector, further elevating the status of Korea’s beauty industry.

With this recognition, Cosmax has gained international acknowledgment for maintaining strong financial soundness and delivering outstanding results in sustainable development.

Cosmax is contributing to the achievement of the UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), a global challenge shared with its clients and stakeholders. The company has established an ESG management philosophy to become an eco-friendly global enterprise that provides sustainable value to humanity through innovation in the beauty and health sectors. Its key ESG strategies include: leading in eco-friendly research technology, operating carbon-neutral business sites, building a sustainable supply chain, practicing safety and human rights management, pursuing mutual growth with partners, and upholding compliance management.

Notably, last year, Cosmax established its "2050 Carbon Neutral Roadmap" to further advance its environmental management system and published a TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) report, actively responding to climate change. The company has also focused on enhancing disclosure transparency, establishing a human rights management and supply chain management system in line with global standards, and minimizing supply chain risks.

Cosmax has strengthened ethics education for all employees to foster a transparent corporate culture and has expanded mutual growth programs with its partners, taking the lead in fulfilling its social responsibilities.

A Cosmax representative stated, "Being selected by TIME as one of the world’s top sustainable growth companies is a testament to the global recognition of Cosmax’s harmony between financial growth and ESG management," adding, "We will continue to build a sustainable beauty ecosystem with over 4,500 clients worldwide and fulfill our responsibilities as a transparent and trusted company."
