Namyangju City Strengthens On-Site Communication
with "Winter Youth Administrative Experience Training" Participants

Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on January 23 that it held an on-site communication session on the 22nd at Namyangju Public Health Center and Dasan Administrative Welfare Center, meeting with young people participating in the "2026 Winter Youth Administrative Experience Training" to hear about their work experiences and gather their opinions.

This visit was organized to allow young people to share their firsthand impressions from working in the administrative field and to reflect their various thoughts and opinions on administration from a youth perspective in municipal policies. The initiative aims to strengthen field-oriented communication.

On this day, Joo Gwangdeok, Mayor of Namyangju City, met with eight young people working in areas such as medical support, maternal and child health, dementia management, healthy living, welfare counseling, and environmental administration, listening to their experiences and impressions from carrying out their work. The young participants shared honest feedback about their increased understanding of municipal administration, as well as the sense of fulfillment and responsibility they felt while interacting directly with citizens.

Mayor Joo stated, "I hope that this administrative experience will serve as a foundation for your growth," and added, "Please continue to take pride and show ongoing interest in youth policies created by the youth themselves in Namyangju City."
