Gwangju Pavilion at CES Achieves 432 Export Consultations with 17 Companies

Six Contracts and Eleven Agreements Signed
6,460 Visitors from 41 Countries
Seven Local Companies Win CES Innovation Awards

Gwangju City announced on January 15 that 17 local companies participated in CES 2026, held in Las Vegas, USA from January 6 to 9, conducting 432 export consultations (worth approximately 29 million US dollars), signing 6 contracts, and entering into 11 business agreements.


Gwangju City participated in CES for the fourth consecutive year, operating both the Gwangju Joint Pavilion and the K-Startup Integrated Pavilion. Thirteen local companies joined the Gwangju Joint Pavilion, while four participated in the K-Startup Integrated Pavilion. The participating companies showcased artificial intelligence-based products and technologies.

During the exhibition, the Gwangju Joint Pavilion attracted 6,460 visitors from 41 countries. The participating companies demonstrated their products and held consultations, making contact with overseas buyers.


At this exhibition, 10 participating companies signed 11 business agreements for technology partnerships and other collaborations. Six contracts were concluded.


LBS Tech signed agreements with two Italian startups to apply its pedestrian route guidance software to wearable devices. Data2Energy is set to supply microinverters for solar panel installations to a US-based solar company. Allthetime signed contracts with two North American distributors for women’s safety smart products. Merryhand is collaborating with domestic and international healthcare partners on data sharing and technology development.


Seven local companies received CES Innovation Awards. The award-winning companies are Ghostpass, Deepcent, Mindspace, LBS Tech, Allthetime, Inoditech, and IndieJada. LBS Tech received the Best Innovation Award in the newly established travel and tourism category.


Gwangju City expects that the achievements from this CES participation will lead to expanded overseas market entry and increased exports. The city plans to work with the Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency to turn negotiations with overseas buyers into follow-up contracts.
