28 New Employees, Including College Graduates, Join the Company

Taihan Cable announced on the 14th that it held the "2026 New Employee Orientation Ceremony" at Hoban Park in Seocho-gu, Seoul.

The orientation ceremony was held for a total of 28 participants, including 25 new college graduates and 3 junior professionals with less than five years of work experience.
The event was attended by Sangyeol Kim, Chairman of the Hoban Scholarship Foundation; Seongyu Kim, Chairman of Hoban Group; Daehun Kim, President of Planning at Hoban Group; Minseong Kim, Vice President of Hoban Group; Junseok Kim, Vice President of Taihan Cable; as well as other key executives of Hoban Group, heads of business divisions at Taihan Cable, and employees, all of whom celebrated the new beginning of the incoming employees. The ceremony included a pledge by the new employees, badge presentations, congratulatory speeches from the management, and a commemorative photo session.
Prior to the orientation ceremony, the new employees completed an approximately two-week introductory training program. This program was designed to enhance their understanding of the company and its overall business, while also fostering a sense of belonging within the organization through various activities. In addition, field training was provided, including visits to major production facilities such as the Dangjin Cable Plant, where the new employees observed cable and solution products and learned about the manufacturing process firsthand.
The newly hired employees will be assigned to key operational departments such as subsea business, production, technology, and quality, where they will begin their work. The company expects that the strategic placement of personnel in each division will contribute to research and development of new products and the strengthening of technological competitiveness in the cable and solution sectors.
In his congratulatory speech, Junseok Kim, Vice President of Taihan Cable, stated, "Taihan Cable has established the core infrastructure that enables the safe and stable transmission of electric power, laying the foundation for the AI era. I hope you will grow into key players who will create the next 100 years of Taihan Cable, driven by a sense of mission and pride in connecting the nation's and industry's infrastructure."
