On January 14, Haitai Confectionery announced the limited release of one million units of its 'Avatar Star Shoe Collection,' featuring its popular 2000s character Avatar Star Shoe on five of its flagship products.

The Shoe Collection lineup consists of five products: Oh Yes, French Pie, Butter Ring, Jayoosigan, and Rollipolli. These items were selected as the most popular choices among customers in their 20s and 30s who love the character Shoe.

The packaging features Shoe dressed in a variety of colorful outfits inspired by Y2K sensibilities and the freshness of spring, along with tangy and sweet fruits. French Pie contains German blackcurrant for a rich tartness, while Oh Yes features Korean strawberries and mugwort. Jayoosigan is filled with strawberry, Butter Ring with raspberry, and Rollipolli combines banana and chocolate.

Coinciding with the launch of the Shoe Collection, a new game will also be released. Introduced for the first time in over 20 years, the new game is designed to be enjoyed by both those who remember Shoe from the past and those encountering the character for the first time. One game will be released each month from January to March. Customers who participate in the game will have a chance to win a variety of prizes, including an iPad Mini and AirPods 4, through a drawing.
