Daegu Happiness Promotion Agency (Chairman Bae Gicheol) announced on the 30th that it had received a donation of 400 winter protection items from Daegu Urban Development Corporation (President Jeong Myeongseop) and delivered them to residents and users of its affiliated facilities.
This donation is part of Daegu Urban Development Corporation's ongoing community sharing activities, now in its third year, and consists of winter essentials such as hot packs, padded blankets, neck warmers, and fleece gloves. These items were distributed to residents and users of affiliated facilities, including seniors and people with disabilities who are particularly vulnerable to cold waves, and are expected to provide practical help in preventing cold-related illnesses and protecting their health.
Since 2023, Daegu Urban Development Corporation has been consistently practicing seasonal and daily life-oriented sharing. It began by donating winter protection items worth 25 million won in 2023, followed by a donation of gloves and neck warmers worth 15 million won in the winter of 2024, and provided heatwave response items such as handheld fans and sun umbrellas in the summer of 2025. This steady support has become a solid foundation for the health and stable daily life of residents and users of facilities under Daegu Happiness Promotion Agency.
Bae Gicheol, Chairman of Daegu Happiness Promotion Agency, expressed his gratitude, saying, "The sharing activities of Daegu Urban Development Corporation, now in their third consecutive year, are not just one-time donations but a meaningful practice that demonstrates deep trust and solidarity with the local community. As even small acts of consideration in daily life can make a big difference on the ground, we will make good use of the donated items to ensure the health and safety of our residents and users."
