Balancing Motherhood, Marriage, and White House Duties
Caroline Levitt (28), the youngest spokesperson of the White House, announced on the 26th (local time) that she is pregnant with her second child.
Levitt posted a photo on Instagram showing her baby bump next to a Christmas tree, sharing, "A new daughter will join our family in May next year." In her post, she wrote, "I'm looking forward to seeing my son become a big brother," and added, "I am grateful to God for allowing our family to grow."

Levitt is married to Nicholas Riccio, a real estate entrepreneur 32 years her senior, and gave birth to their first son, Nico, in July last year. Just six months after giving birth, the couple held their wedding in January, right before President Trump's second inauguration, officially marking a new beginning as a family.
Reflecting on the process of getting married and her parents' reaction, Levitt said, "Introducing my husband to my parents for the first time was a very awkward and difficult conversation. However, as they got to know his character, he was eventually accepted as part of the family."
Regarding her married life, Levitt explained, "My husband is introverted and private, but he is devoted to caring for our child and family. Even after childbirth, we have shared responsibilities and maintained a balance between family and work." She also shared her experience of returning to work early from maternity leave due to an emergency in the Trump campaign, saying, "Being a mother and a wife has actually strengthened my sense of responsibility and professionalism as a spokesperson."
However, Levitt's personal life has sparked controversy online. On progressive platforms, there has been criticism over the age gap with her husband and comments pointing out her premarital pregnancy. Some netizens have disparaged her husband as a "sugar daddy" or questioned Levitt's authenticity, expressing a critical stance. In contrast, conservative supporters have defended her, stating that it is merely a private choice between consenting adults, and have expressed their support by highlighting Levitt's abilities and professionalism as a spokesperson.
Levitt herself emphasized, "Thanks to my husband and son, I am not shaken by outside criticism," and continues to demonstrate a balanced approach to both her family and professional responsibilities amid political debate.
