Korea Technology Finance Corporation and 11 Organizations, Including Incheon City, to Build One-Stop Platform for Technology Transition

From Technology Transfer to Commercialization and Investment

The Korea Technology Finance Corporation announced on December 26, 2025, that it had signed a business agreement on December 24 at Incheon City Hall with a total of 11 organizations, including Incheon Metropolitan City, Incheon Technopark, Incheon Intellectual Property Center, and associations and groups within the Incheon area, to establish and support an innovation platform for technology transition in small and medium enterprises.


Under this agreement, the organizations will jointly build a "technology transition innovation platform" and establish a step-by-step customized support system, ranging from technology transfer to demonstration, commercialization funding, and investment attraction. This is expected to generate tangible results, such as alleviating technology adoption costs and increasing the success rate of commercialization.

Each organization will jointly identify companies in need of technology transfer, and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation will provide comprehensive financial and non-financial support to these companies through its technology transaction platform, "Smart Tech Bridge." This support will include technology transfer, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), technology guarantees, and investment linkage, helping companies achieve stable technology commercialization.


Incheon Technopark and Incheon Regional Intellectual Property Center will support non-financial areas such as demonstration for technology-innovative companies and intellectual property consulting, while Incheon Metropolitan City plans to expand strategic investments in promising small and medium enterprises within strategic and specialized industries through fund investment projects.


Juseon Park, Executive Director of the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, stated, "This agreement is a regionally tailored cooperation model to promote innovative growth of small and medium enterprises in Incheon amid a rapidly changing industrial environment. Going forward, the Korea Technology Finance Corporation will continue to strengthen cooperation with related organizations to enhance the innovation capabilities of small and medium enterprises and take the lead in creating a sustainable industrial ecosystem."
