On December 23, Jang Donghyuk, leader of the People Power Party, greets opposition lawmakers after completing a 24-hour unlimited debate (filibuster) on the bill to establish a special court for insurrection cases during a plenary session at the National Assembly. Jang’s filibuster, the first ever by the leader of the main opposition party, set a new record at 24 hours.
