Received Highest Rating at CP Certificate Award Ceremony Hosted by Korea Fair Trade Commission on the 19th
Hanmi Pharmaceutical has maintained the highest "AAA" rating for seven consecutive years in the Compliance Program (CP) evaluation conducted by the Korea Fair Trade Commission, setting the longest record in the domestic pharmaceutical industry.
Hanmi Pharmaceutical announced on the 23rd that it officially received the "AAA" certificate at the "2025 Fair Trade Compliance Program (CP) Excellent Company Certification Ceremony and Forum," hosted by the Korea Fair Trade Commission and held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 19th.
Hanmi Pharmaceutical was the first in the domestic pharmaceutical industry to introduce the CP in 2007 and achieved the "AAA" rating for the first time in 2020. With this evaluation result, the company will have maintained the "AAA" rating for seven consecutive years through 2027.
During the best practice presentation held after the ceremony, Hanmi Pharmaceutical's continuously advanced CP operation strategies and key achievements were shared, drawing significant attention from the industry.
The CP is an internal compliance system voluntarily operated by companies to comply with fair trade-related laws. The Korea Fair Trade Commission evaluates and assigns ratings based on a comprehensive review of seven items: operational policy, top management support, training and education, pre-monitoring systems, sanctions and incentives, effectiveness assessment, and others.
This achievement is the result of systematic CP operation, including the firm commitment of top management to compliance, regular training, and risk-based pre-inspections. It is a meaningful outcome that demonstrates compliance management has become firmly established as part of Hanmi Pharmaceutical's corporate culture.
In addition to achieving the "AAA" rating in the CP evaluation, Hanmi Pharmaceutical also held the "2025 CP Excellence Awards" at its headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 17th.
The awards ceremony was organized to recognize outstanding compliance activities and spread a culture of voluntary compliance throughout the organization. This year, a total of 14 awardees were selected across four categories: CP High Level Test achievers, CP Best Region and Outstanding Part, ISO Excellent Group, and ISO Outstanding Internal Auditor.
The recipients were fairly evaluated based on multiple criteria, including CP system operation performance, contributions to voluntary compliance activities, and work competencies related to regulatory compliance and anti-corruption management systems. Outstanding individuals received various incentives such as prize money and departmental budget support.
Based on this CP rating evaluation and the awards ceremony, Hanmi Pharmaceutical plans to further strengthen the substance of the CP system and continuously expand compliance management activities involving all executives and employees.
Park Jaehyun, CEO of Hanmi Pharmaceutical, stated, "Hanmi Pharmaceutical's achievement of maintaining the AAA rating for seven consecutive years is a recognition of our ongoing commitment to compliance with fair trade laws and ethical management as our highest values. We will continue to further advance the CP, setting an example for the industry and establishing ourselves as a globally recognized ethical management company."
