Sharing Key Achievements of the 2025 Brand Project
and Presenting Outstanding Case Studies
On December 22, Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province held the "2025 Dasan Jeong Yak-yong Brand Project Performance Report Meeting" at Yeoyudang in City Hall, where departments shared the outcomes of their respective brand-related projects.

This meeting was organized to review the results of the brand policies implemented by all city departments over the past year and to discuss strategies for internalizing and expanding the brand in 2026. The event was attended by approximately 50 people, including Mayor Joo Gwangdeok, heads of offices and bureaus, department heads, and those in charge of brand-related work. The program proceeded in the following order: a screening of a brand achievements video, presentations of departmental results, and the mayor’s closing remarks.
During the meeting, heads of offices and bureaus directly presented on 49 core projects out of a total of 78 brand initiatives. Examples were shared of how the Dasan spirit has been embodied in administration across various fields, including integrity education for public officials, citizen-participatory community building, and educational programs linked to historical sites.
In addition, the city announced the results of the "2025 Brand Project Final Performance Evaluation." Based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative assessments, as well as additional points, the "Jeong Yak-yong at the Library" project by the Library Policy Division was selected as the best project. The "Jeong Yak-yong Daycare Center Branding" by the Childcare Policy Division and "Community Building" by the Administrative Support Division were recognized as outstanding projects. For encouragement awards, "Yeoyudang Gongnyeom Academy" by the Culture and Tourism Division, "Jeong Yak-yong Garden Creation" by the River Park Management Division, and "City Museum Educational Program" by the Culture and Arts Division were each selected. Awarded departments will receive a mayoral commendation and special leave incentives.
Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "The city has concretely implemented the spirit of Jeong Yak-yong across administration, education, welfare, and culture," and urged, "In 2026, I ask all departments to work even more closely together to enhance the consistency and sustainability of our brand policies."
