Hyundai Wia announced on the 22nd that it received an "AA" rating at the "2025 Second Half CP Forum and Evaluation Certificate Award Ceremony" hosted by the Fair Trade Commission on the 19th at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul. The CP is a system introduced by the Fair Trade Commission to encourage companies to voluntarily comply with fair trade-related laws and regulations. Hyundai Wia has achieved the AA rating for two consecutive years, following last year.
Hyundai Wia ensures that the CEO receives regular reports on the status of CP operations and reviews them. The company actively participates in events aimed at spreading a culture of voluntary compliance, thereby promoting a fair trade compliance culture internally. The use of systematic quantitative indicators (KPIs) to manage CP activities in each business division also contributed positively to the evaluation.
Hyundai Wia has made CP accessible to employees through various channels and checked its utilization through awareness surveys. All executives are required to attend CP training, and separate training and evaluations are conducted. In addition to providing fair trade-related training to all new hires, the company also conducts additional training and exams for job categories deemed more likely to violate the law.
A Hyundai Wia representative stated, "We will continue to improve our systems and training programs to further enhance our CP," adding, "We will strive to foster a corporate culture where all employees comply with fair trade and work together for mutual growth."
