Yes24, the cultural content platform, announced on the 19th that Sarak received the Grand Prize in the Culture category at the 'Smart App Awards 2025' ceremony held on the 18th.
The Smart App Awards is an event where a panel of 4,000 judges selects and recognizes innovative mobile apps based on 18 evaluation criteria, including visuals, UI design, technology, and content.
Sarak, launched by Yes24 in April of last year, is a reading-based community platform where users can record their personal reading notes and communicate with others based on those records. In February of this year, it was selected as a recommended app on the Google Play Store, further demonstrating the platform's competitiveness.
Since the launch of the mobile app in 2024, Sarak has recorded 800,000 book reviews and 110,000 reading logs, and more than 2,300 reading clubs have been created, enjoying great popularity.
