Bongsoo Kwon and Kyungae Yang of Guri City Council Receive Excellence Awards from Northern Gyeonggi Province City and County Chairpersons Association

Bongsoo Kwon and Kyungae Yang, members of the Guri City Council in Gyeonggi Province, each received awards in the 'Legislative Activities' and 'Local Economic Revitalization' categories at the 11th Legislative Activities Excellence Awards Ceremony, held on the 15th at the Imjingang Nature Center in Yeoncheon County and hosted by the Northern Gyeonggi Province City and County Chairpersons Association.

Councilman Bongsoo Kwon of Guri City Council is receiving the 'Excellence in Legislative Activities Award' in the 'Legislative Activities Category' at the 11th Legislative Activities Excellence Awards Ceremony held on the 15th at the Imjingang Nature Center in Yeoncheon County, hosted by the Northern Gyeonggi Province City and County Chairpersons Association. This awards ceremony, aimed at members of basic local councils in the northern Gyeonggi region, was established to recognize council members who have contributed to regional development through dedicated legislative activities, thereby promoting the advancement of local autonomy and building a trustworthy society. Awards were presented in ten categories: resident participation and communication, resolution of local issues, legislative activities, fulfillment of pledges, local economic revitalization, administrative improvement, improvement of legislative activities, administrative audit, budget savings, and legislative research and development.

Councilmembers Bongsoo Kwon and Kyungae Yang were recognized for their contributions to the community, including efficient budget review activities, active legislative work within the council, policy proposals to improve the quality of life for Guri citizens, and volunteer service.

Councilman Bongsoo Kwon stated, "I am pleased and grateful to receive the award in the legislative activities category at this ceremony. Going forward, I will continue to thoroughly review key projects of the executive branch to ensure that citizens' valuable tax money is used appropriately, and I will do my utmost to fulfill my duties as a city council member."

Yang Kyungae, a member of the Guri City Council, is receiving the 'Excellence in Local Economic Revitalization' award at the '11th Outstanding Legislative Activity Awards Ceremony' hosted by the Northern Gyeonggi Province Council Chairpersons Association, held on the 15th at the Imjingang Nature Center in Yeoncheon County. Councilwoman Kyungae Yang said, "I am grateful to receive such a meaningful award at the Legislative Activities Excellence Awards Ceremony. I will listen closely to each citizen's voice, communicate even more, and work together with the executive branch to develop policies that are truly needed by citizens, striving to become a council member who is even closer to the community."
