On December 12, Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (President Lim Chaecheong) announced that it had urgently delivered 250 sets of firefighter dispatch kits and supplies worth 10 million won to support firefighters engaged in rescue operations at the collapsed library site in Gwangju Metropolitan City.

Hope Bridge decided to provide emergency support immediately after the accident to help on-site firefighters recover their strength and maintain hygiene, given the prolonged rescue operations and overnight shifts.

The firefighter dispatch kits provided include a total of 14 essential items: dust masks, sports towels, toothpaste and toothbrush sets, wet wipes, acacia honey sticks, multivitamins, and more. In addition, supplies worth 10 million won, such as hot packs, coffee, and energy bars, were also provided, enabling immediate rest and energy replenishment for those working in the cold winter conditions.

Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, said, "We hope this support will be helpful to the firefighters continuing rescue operations at the accident site."

Hope Bridge continues to provide support for disaster response personnel such as firefighters and rescue workers through the "National Heroes Campaign," a public participation sponsorship campaign. This emergency support was also carried out in line with the purpose of the campaign.
