This seasonal management plan focuses on intensively managing the main sources of fine dust and strengthening reduction measures in three key sectors: transportation, industry, and daily life (health).

First, in the transportation sector, the city will step up publicity regarding restrictions on the operation of grade 5 vehicles and will release real-time fine dust data on electronic displays so that citizens can immediately check air quality conditions.

Additionally, when emergency reduction measures are issued, a two-shift system for public institution vehicles will be implemented to reduce vehicle operation and minimize air pollution. The city will also conduct crackdowns on vehicle idling and emissions, targeting freight trucks, city buses, and academy buses, which are major sources of fine dust emissions.

In the industrial sector, the city will intensively inspect 60 air pollutant-emitting businesses to ensure the proper operation of emission and prevention facilities, and will strengthen fugitive dust reduction management at 64 construction sites.

The city will also operate illegal fine dust emission monitors to conduct ongoing inspections of air pollutant-emitting businesses and fugitive dust-generating sites, and will monitor and inspect for activities such as illegal burning that contribute to fine dust emissions.

Finally, in the daily life sector, the city has designated Sicheong-ro to Dongnim-ro (6 km) and the route from the public health center to Egreen (5 km) as intensive management roads for fine dust reduction. Road cleaning vehicles and water spray vehicles will be deployed to strengthen road cleaning, and special inspections of indoor air quality will be conducted at multi-use facilities such as daycare centers, medical institutions, and senior care facilities.

A city official stated, "During the implementation period of the seasonal management plan, we will do our utmost to manage all sectors-transportation, industry, and daily life-for fine dust reduction and to protect citizens' health. We ask for the active cooperation and participation of citizens in reducing fine dust."
