On December 4, LH announced that it had signed a "win-win cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the establishment of a stable power grid and the implementation of housing supply" with KEPCO at the KEPCO Art Center in Yangjae, Seoul.

This agreement was established to respond to changes in regional power demand in line with the government's policy to expand housing supply, and to enhance the stability and efficiency of the national power infrastructure.

Through this agreement, the two organizations will improve the accuracy of power demand forecasting for each project district and strengthen the efficiency of project management by implementing phased installation of power trunk lines and early lump-sum settlements. They will also cooperate to provide high-quality power services that reflect future demand.

In particular, by applying a new standard load density to new town power grids, it is expected that distribution trunk line construction costs can be reduced by up to 15%. KEPCO's analysis of power usage data from apartment complexes, commercial facilities, public facilities, and industrial facilities over the past seven years found that the initially estimated construction cost of about 228.3 billion won could be reduced by approximately 35.2 billion won.

Based on this agreement, LH plans to establish a cooperative system with KEPCO from the early stages of new town development to enhance the precision of power planning and minimize overall project delays through early settlement of power trunk lines.

Dongseon Park, Director of the National Land and Urban Headquarters at LH, stated, "This agreement is not just about cooperation; it marks the starting point for ensuring the sustainability of urban development and the national power infrastructure. We will do our utmost to create a safe energy environment for the public and to ensure the government's housing supply policy is carried out without setbacks."
