Yang Jaegon, President of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Residents Association in Finance, Donates 100 Million Won to Help Neighbors in Need

On December 5, Yang Jaegon, President of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Residents Association in Finance, visited the Gyeongbuk Provincial Office and donated 100 million won as a year-end contribution to help neighbors in need.

The donation ceremony was attended by Lee Cheolwoo, Governor of Gyeongbuk Province; Yang Jaegon, President of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Residents Association in Finance; Heo Jaedae, Executive Vice President; and Jeon Wooheon, Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest.

Yang Jaegon, who hails from Uiseong, Gyeongbuk, is currently the CEO of Dasung Construction Co., Ltd., a housing construction company. Since December 2022, he has served as President of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Residents Association in Finance for three consecutive years, actively working for the development of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region and demonstrating his love for his hometown.

Notably, during the recent massive wildfires, the association, under his leadership, raised and delivered a substantial donation of 1,926,010,000 won to Gyeongsangbuk-do to support victims. In July last year, he personally donated 100 million won to help overcome low birth rates, further highlighting his exceptional dedication to his hometown.

Yang Jaegon stated, "As the year comes to a close, I wanted to provide even a small amount of support to neighbors in my hometown who are facing difficulties. I hope this donation brings warmth to vulnerable groups and those in need throughout the province."

Lee Cheolwoo, Governor of Gyeongbuk Province, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am deeply thankful to President Yang Jaegon, who always puts his hometown first. We will ensure that the donated funds are carefully managed and used for residents who are in urgent need.
