Plaque Presentation Ceremony for 10 Companies Including Rihaon Co., Ltd. on December 5
Certification and Work Environment Improvement Grants for Leading Job-Creating Companies
Even amid a hiring freeze, companies planting the seeds of growth are shining in Ulsan.
On December 5 at 11 a.m., Ulsan City will hold a plaque presentation ceremony for the '2025 Leading Job-Creating Companies' in the situation room on the 7th floor of the main City Hall building, with Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs Ahn Hyodae and about 10 company representatives in attendance.
The leading job-creating companies are recognized for their outstanding employment environments through new hires and employment stability support. Eligible companies must be small or medium-sized enterprises with their headquarters or workplaces located in Ulsan, have been in operation for more than two years, and employ at least 10 workers.
This selection was promoted to foster a regional atmosphere conducive to job creation by discovering companies with excellent employment records. The final selection was made through an announcement starting in August, followed by a first-round document review, a second-round on-site inspection, and a third-round selection committee review.
The selected companies are: Rihaon Co., Ltd., OM Tech, Hyundai Heavy Industries Turbo Machinery, Insight On, Geumgang Tech, Gana Enterprise, Joun Industry, NTS Solution, City Korea, and Stagen-a total of 10 companies.
Ulsan City will present plaques to the selected companies and provide each with 20 million won to improve their working environments. Additional incentives include support for management stabilization fund loans, preferential interest rates, and deferral of tax audits.
This year’s selected companies received high marks not only for creating new jobs but also for employment stability, improving employee welfare, and fostering a culture of work-life balance.
Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs Ahn Hyodae stated, "We plan to continue selecting leading job-creating companies so that firms generating many quality jobs can take pride in their achievements. We will do our utmost to create more local jobs."
