From Paper Mail to Mobile Electronic Notification

HF was recognized for its digital innovation by receiving a commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT for its efforts to promote the use of electronic documents.

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (President Kim Kyunghwan) received a commendation from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and ICT at the "2025 Electronic Document Industry Day" ceremony held at the SC Convention Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, in recognition of its contributions to expanding the use of electronic documents.

This event, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Internet & Security Agency and the Korea Digital Document Platform Association, was held to honor organizations and individuals who have contributed to the development of the electronic document industry.

This year, Korea Housing Finance Corporation established the "HF Electronic Delivery Platform," converting its system so that various notices previously sent by mail can now be checked via smartphone through Naver, KakaoBank, KakaoTalk, KB Kookmin Bank Star Banking, and other channels.

The platform delivers mobile electronic notices to customers through certified electronic document intermediaries. If customers do not view the notices, paper mail is automatically sent via a post office mailing agency service. The corporation has also taken the lead in digitizing paper mail by converting content-certified mail to electronic notification.

Kim Kyunghwan, President of Korea Housing Finance Corporation, stated, "We will further expand the scope of electronic document delivery to enhance customer convenience and strengthen our role as a public institution leading environmental protection by reducing carbon emissions through decreased paper usage."

During the case study presentation following the awards ceremony, the corporation shared its experiences in operating a dedicated organization for integrated corporate mail management and the legal review process to secure the legal validity of content-certified mail sent as electronic documents, highlighting the work innovations it has pursued.
