Lee Haejin, Chairman of Naver, visited Saudi Arabia and met with the minister overseeing local real estate policies to explore ways to cooperate on digital transformation.
According to Naver and the Saudi state news agency SPA on November 20, Chairman Lee attended the 'Cityscape Global 2025' exhibition held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 18 local time. Cityscape is the world's largest exhibition in the construction, architecture, and real estate sectors.
At the exhibition, Chairman Lee met with Majid Al-Hogail, Saudi Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, to discuss strengthening cooperation in the fields of innovation and digital transformation.
The two sides also discussed joint initiatives for developing stablecoins and data centers linked to real estate investment and the economy. In addition, both parties agreed to enhance research and development cooperation in new technology fields and to support scientific and technological exchange and cooperation programs between the two countries.
Naver showcased real estate and urban management cases utilizing advanced technologies such as digital twins, artificial intelligence (AI), and cloud computing at the Cityscape exhibition in Saudi Arabia.
Previously, in June, Naver proposed ways to expand digital transformation (DX) in urban development and architecture, focusing on the digital twin platforms it established for Mecca, Medina, and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
