The exercise simulated an earthquake scenario and practically verified the effectiveness of accident management strategies, organizational response, and implementation systems using mobile emergency equipment.
Lee Seyong, Head of Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, "Through this full-scale drill linking radiation disaster prevention and major accident scenarios, we assessed and strengthened Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters' systematic and immediate response capabilities under extreme disaster conditions. We will continue to conduct repeated drills to ensure active responses to crisis situations in the future."
