The main agenda items reviewed at the meeting included three reports: the 1st supplementary budget report for 2025, the operational status report of the council, and other key updates. In addition, three proposals were deliberated: the revised annual implementation plan for 2025, the operational plan for the Yeongdeok County Social Welfare Fund for 2026, and the annual implementation plan for 2026.

During the meeting, the council approved the annual implementation plan for next year to systematically advance the 5th Community Security Plan. Under the slogan "Yeongdeok, a Better Place to Live, Built Together," they finalized detailed projects aimed at enhancing residents' welfare and strengthening the foundation for public-private cooperation.

In particular, for next year, the council decided to focus on addressing welfare blind spots and reinforcing the care system by allocating approximately 5.1 billion KRW to nine strategic initiatives and 34 detailed projects, including the expansion of the smart care system to prevent solitary deaths and the extension of the Happy Senior Center program.

Hee-Won Lee, the council's private sector chairperson, stated, "This meeting was a meaningful opportunity to jointly review local welfare issues and establish practical action plans. We will continue to build a sustainable welfare community through collaboration between the public and private sectors."

Kwang-Yeol Kim, the public sector chairperson and Yeongdeok County Governor, emphasized, "We will establish a robust social safety net that protects the dignity and rights of all residents through field-oriented welfare policies and alternative welfare administration that residents can truly experience."

The Yeongdeok County Community Security Council will hold the "2025 Community Security Council Activity Report Meeting" on December 19 at the Yeongdeok Lohas Fisheries Food Support Center, where they will share the year's achievements and recognize outstanding councils and members.
