Prosecutors Indict Japanese Woman for 'Sexual Assault on BTS Member Jin'

A Japanese woman has been indicted for forcibly molesting Jin, a member of BTS.

On the 17th, the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office announced that it had indicted a Japanese woman in her 50s, identified as Ms. A, on November 12 on charges of forcible molestation under the Criminal Act.

According to the prosecution, Ms. A is accused of kissing Jin on the cheek during a fan meeting held at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on June 13 last year, the day after Jin completed his military service.

Jin appeared visibly startled, and Ms. A's actions sparked controversy over sexual harassment. It is reported that an online community user filed a complaint against Ms. A.
