The Ulleung County Women's Association Council in North Gyeongsang Province held the "2025 Love Kimchi Sharing" volunteer event at the Ulleung Hanmaeum Center from November 13 to 14, 2025.
More than 70 members of the council participated in this event, preparing 800 heads of kimchi with care and personally delivering them to 200 households of low-income seniors living alone and marginalized families, putting the spirit of sharing into practice.
Park Sunok, President of the Ulleung County Women's Association Council, said, "It was very meaningful that all our members once again came together as one this year to share warmth with neighbors in need," adding, "We will continue to be a council that consistently practices love and volunteerism for the local community."
Nam Han-kwon, Mayor of Ulleung County, who visited the event, stated, "I sincerely thank all the members of the Women's Association Council for continuously carrying out the kimchi sharing event every year and delivering warmth to neighbors in need," and added, "I hope this act of sharing delivers a message of hope and warmth to all residents of the county."

The Ulleung County Women's Association Council has been organizing the "Love Kimchi Sharing" event every winter since 1995 and has also been actively participating in various local events and welfare activities, spreading a culture of sharing and volunteerism in the community.
The council plans to continue leading the way in making Ulleung a warmer place by delivering great happiness through small acts of kindness.
