Mayor Park Beomin of Geumsan County Vows to Strive for a Business-Friendly Environment

The 19th Geumsan County Entrepreneurs’ Conference Held

Park Beomin, Mayor of Geumsan County, stated, "Three out of ten companies based in Geumsan County are engaged in manufacturing," and added, "We will strive to create an environment that is favorable for businesses."

On November 11, at the 19th Geumsan County Entrepreneurs’ Conference held at the Geumsan Darakwon Grand Theater, Mayor Park said, "I hope today’s event will provide at least some encouragement to all entrepreneurs facing difficult challenges."

The event was a great success, attended by Park Beomin, Mayor of Geumsan County; Kim Kiyun, Chairman of the Geumsan County Council; Shin Sangoh, President of the Geumsan County Entrepreneurs’ Association; Yoo Seunggyo, Vice President of the Daejeon Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and approximately 200 local businesspeople.

This event was organized to boost morale and provide a networking opportunity for stakeholders by recognizing and celebrating the dedication and achievements of entrepreneurs and workers who have contributed to regional economic development and social responsibility.

For the Geumsan County Mayor’s Award in the Entrepreneur Category, the Grand Prize was awarded to Noh Minseong, CEO of ESFCT Co., Ltd. The winners in each category were as follows: ▲ Technology Award to Sung Changgeun, CEO of Daedeok Bio Co., Ltd.; ▲ Management Award to Ko Inja and Lee Daeseon, CEOs of Haeoreum Food Agricultural Corporation LLC; ▲ Longevity Award to Kwon Minseok, CEO of Gyeonggi Mining Co., Ltd.; ▲ Outstanding Entrepreneur Award to Hwang Yongtaek and Bae Younghoo, CEOs of Yuil Storage Co., Ltd.

Additionally, the Geumsan County Premium Enterprise Award, presented by the Daejeon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was given to Pop Golf (CEO Choi Seunghwan) and Barbijon Bakery (CEO Cho Seunghye).

Furthermore, in the Model Worker Award category, presented by the President of the Geumsan County Entrepreneurs’ Association, a total of 26 workers, including four foreign employees, were recognized.
