London Bagel Museum Reaches Settlement With Family Over Suspected Overwork Death of Employee in 20s

On November 3, The Compensation Law Firm, representing the family, announced that the industrial accident claim for Mr. A (26), who worked at the Incheon branch of the London Bagel Museum, has been withdrawn. In a press release, the attorney stated, "Through the company's sincere apology and ongoing efforts for dialogue, the family and the company have resolved misunderstandings and reached mutual reconciliation."

The attorney also conveyed, "The late employee's parents do not wish for their son's death to be repeatedly mentioned, and hope that people will understand their decision to accept the company's apology and condolences." It is known that the London Bagel Museum provided the family with a consolation payment that exceeded the amount that would have been paid as compensation if Mr. A's industrial accident had been recognized.
