"Pro JOB-er TALK Concert"
A practical employment support event for young people under the age of 34 in the Busan area will be held.
Dongseo University will host the "Pro JOB-er TALK Concert" on November 7 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the 3rd floor Live Hall of Seomyeon SangSang Madang.
This event is jointly organized by the Dongseo University Career Plus Center and Glocal University 30 to foster local talent, and co-hosted by the Busan Economic Promotion Agency and the Busan Northern Employment Welfare Plus Center. Any young person in Busan under the age of 34 is eligible to participate.
With the theme of "Global Culture and Content Specialization," this concert is an interactive employment program where professionals and young job seekers can meet and communicate directly. Experts from various industries will take the stage to share real-life stories from the field.
The event is divided into three parts. In Part 1, "Jobs Dreamed by Busan Youth," a representative from Orange Planet (Smilegate) will share vivid insights into the game and content industries. In Part 2, "Jobs Attracting Busan Youth," Busan-based companies such as Lotte Giants, Samwoo Immersion, and Slash B Slash will introduce their corporate culture, recruitment information, and job know-how.
In the final Part 3, YouTuber Jacob will deliver a special lecture titled "Job Up! Ask About Jobs!" to address real employment concerns of young people through a practical talk session.
Additionally, the venue will feature side events including employment counseling, career consulting, and policy promotion booths, along with a variety of activities.
Jung Dowoon, Director of the Dongseo University Career Plus Center, said, "This concert will serve as a platform where companies and young people can freely communicate and share real stories from the job market," adding, "I hope this will be an opportunity for young people in Busan to deepen their understanding of the world of work and clarify their own career direction."
