According to Xinhua News Agency, Chinese President Xi Jinping departed for South Korea on the morning of October 30 aboard a private jet.

President Xi is making a state visit to South Korea at the invitation of President Lee Jaemyung, with a schedule of two nights and three days. This marks President Xi's first visit to South Korea in over 11 years, since July 2014.
President Xi is scheduled to hold a summit with United States President Donald Trump in Busan. Previously, the White House announced that the US-China summit would take place at 11:00 a.m. on this day.
After the US-China summit, President Xi will travel to Gyeongju to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, and on November 1, he will hold a South Korea-China summit with President Lee Jaemyung.
