The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education held the "2025 Citizen Audit Team-Work Officer Cooperation Enhancement Workshop" at Konjiam Resort in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, on October 28.
This event was particularly meaningful as it marked the first time that members of the citizen audit team and work officers from the Office of Education gathered together, with the aim of improving the quality of school construction projects and preventing poor construction practices.
During the workshop, participants engaged in group discussions by construction type, including sharing the results of the citizen audit team system and ideas for cooperation, discussing improvement measures for major construction cases by type, and establishing step-by-step inspection items to ensure quality and safety.

Attendees actively exchanged opinions, focusing on cases in the fields of architecture, civil engineering, electrical, and mechanical works. They discussed practical ways to enhance the quality of school construction projects and measures to prevent poor construction, and especially agreed on the need to establish a field-oriented cooperation system.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education plans to continue fostering safe and reliable school facilities through communication and cooperation, starting with this workshop where the citizen audit team and work officers met face-to-face to discuss issues on site.
