In celebration of the 80th anniversary of Liberation, Jingwansa Temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism held the closing ceremony for the "2025 Jingwansa Suryukjae" on October 25, marking the 627th anniversary of the Suryukjae ritual's establishment. The Suryukjae, which began on October 7, was conducted over 49 days under the theme "80 Years of Liberation, a Prayer of Gratitude Illuminating the World."
