Gochang County's "Cheonmangeum Sun-dried Salt" Now Available at 20 Costco Stores Nationwide

Gochang Roasted Salt and Haeri Nonghyup Dehydrated Sun-dried Salt Now Available

Gochang County in North Jeolla Province announced on the 23rd that "Gochang Cheonmangeum Sun-dried Salt" has officially entered all 20 Costco stores nationwide.

According to the county, a "Costco Store Opening Ceremony" was held the previous day at the Haeri Nonghyup Sun-dried Salt Processing Plant, attended by County Governor Shim Deokseop, Deputy Director Ahn Chanwoo of the Jeonbuk Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, Haeri Nonghyup Chairman Kim Gapseon, and other officials.

On the 22nd, a "Costco Store Opening Ceremony" was held at the Haeri Nonghyup Sun-dried Salt Processing Plant, attended by County Governor Shim Deokseop, Deputy Director Ahn Chanwoo of the Jeonbuk Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, Haeri Nonghyup Chairman Kim Gapseon, and other officials. The products now available at Costco are "Gochang Roasted Salt" and "Haeri Nonghyup Dehydrated Sun-dried Salt." "Gochang Roasted Salt" is a mildly alkaline salt known for its smooth and clean taste, while "Dehydrated Sun-dried Salt" is a product with reduced bitterness and enhanced flavor, achieved by removing bittern and preserving abundant minerals.

This entry into Costco is seen as the result of years of quality innovation and brand trust-building efforts by Haeri Nonghyup. The Haeri Nonghyup Sun-dried Salt Processing Plant is equipped with modern processing facilities and a rigorous hygiene management system, systematically overseeing the entire process of processing and packaging sun-dried salt.
