Dongducheon City Holds 17th "On-site Dispatch, the Mayor Visits Citizens" Communication Event

Dongducheon City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyungdeok) held the 17th communication event titled "On-site Dispatch, the Mayor Visits Citizens" on the 15th at Naehaeng 2 Children's Park in Bulhyeon-dong.

This event was organized as part of a field-oriented communication initiative, aiming to directly listen to citizens' opinions on-site and reflect them in municipal administration. Mayor Park Hyungdeok personally met with local residents to hear about regional issues and discussed possible solutions to their difficulties together.

"On-site Dispatch, the Mayor Visits Citizens" is an event designed for the mayor to visit locations where citizens face inconveniences or difficulties, listen attentively to their concerns, and promptly resolve civil complaints.

The sites for these visits are selected through citizen submissions on the city's website, recommendations from relevant departments, or the mayor's own selection. The city also plans to operate a dedicated bulletin board to continuously receive citizens' feedback in the future.

Mayor Park Hyungdeok emphasized, "The vivid voices of our citizens are the compass for city administration," adding, "We will faithfully reflect the opinions shared today in our municipal policies and continue to seek answers on-site together with citizens through ongoing communication."

Dongducheon City will share the suggestions received during this event with relevant departments to devise improvements and will continue its field-oriented communication initiative under the goal of "Dongducheon Created Together with Citizens."
