Assemblywoman Kim Mi-ae Also Participates
The National Health Insurance Service Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters (headed by Cho Junhee) carried out the "Chuseok Jeong Sharing Festival" social contribution activity for elderly people in vulnerable groups in the region to celebrate the Chuseok holiday.
This event was organized by the National Health Insurance Service Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, in cooperation with the office of Assemblywoman Kim Mi-ae (representing Haeundae District B in Busan). Holiday gift sets and food were provided to 112 individuals from vulnerable groups, including elderly people living alone, sharing the warmth of the holiday season.
On this day, Assemblywoman Kim Mi-ae and Regional Director Cho Junhee personally attended the event at the Unbong Community Welfare Center in Haeundae District, where they handed out Chuseok gift sets containing daily necessities. Holiday dishes such as galbitang (beef short rib soup), jeon (Korean pancakes), and songpyeon (rice cakes) were served to about 50 elderly guests at the center, while lunch boxes and gift sets were delivered directly to those with mobility difficulties.
Regional Director Cho Junhee stated, "I am pleased that our neighbors who are often marginalized during Chuseok can feel the warmth of the holiday," adding, "The organization will continue to fulfill its social responsibility and share with vulnerable groups in cooperation with the local community."
