About 80,000 Employees Across 25 Affiliates to Use A. Biz in the Second Half of the Year
Establishing an Environment Where Each Employee Has Their Own Agent
On September 29, SK Telecom announced that it will expand the business artificial intelligence (AI) agent "A. Biz," jointly developed with SK AX, to 25 SK Group affiliates by the end of this year.
A. Biz is SK Telecom's business-to-business (B2B) AI solution. In addition to supporting everyday tasks such as information retrieval, schedule management, and meeting minutes creation, it also assists with specialized work areas like recruitment.

When users enter work-related queries in natural language into the A. Biz chat window, it not only provides answers but also carries out the relevant tasks on their behalf. For example, if a user asks for their meeting schedule for today, A. Biz will check the schedule and handle tasks such as reserving a meeting room and notifying participants all at once.
Additionally, features such as "Agent Builder," which allows employees without IT expertise to create agents linked to internal data in a secure environment, and "Agent Store," which enables sharing these agents, have been added to establish an environment where each employee can have their own agent.
In the first half of this year, SK Telecom conducted a closed beta test (CBT) of A. Biz for several months among SK Telecom and SK AX employees, further enhancing its performance. During this period, the Agent Builder-one of the most frequently used features-was improved to increase user convenience and strengthen feedback collection and knowledge management systems.
An SK Telecom representative stated, "By using A. Biz, we have reduced the time required to create meeting minutes by 60% and the time to write reports by nearly 40% compared to before. The greatest benefit is that it lessens the burden of routine work, enabling employees to focus more on core tasks that require creativity."
Officially launched at the end of June for SK Telecom and SK AX, A. Biz will be rolled out across the entire SK Group in the second half of this year. Starting this month with seven companies-including SK Discovery, SK Gas, SK Networks, SK D&D, SK Bioscience, SK Broadband, and SK Chemicals-approximately 80,000 employees from a total of 25 SK Group affiliates, including SK Hynix and SK Innovation, will be using A. Biz by the end of the year.
SK Telecom plans to provide A. Biz to industries such as telecommunications, IT, manufacturing, and petrochemicals, while improving service quality and features tailored to each sector to ensure stability. For SK Hynix (semiconductors), SK On (batteries), and SK Siltron (materials)-companies possessing national core technologies-SK Telecom will enhance security by applying its proprietary large language model (LLM) A. Biz X and SK AX's industry-specific AI technologies.
Kwon Beomjun, Head of the AI Work Business Division at SK Telecom, said, "A. Biz is an AI work tool designed so that even employees without specialized technical knowledge of AI can experience innovation in their work. We will continue to reinforce stability and security through applications across various industries, striving to fundamentally transform the way we work."
