System Disruptions Including G4B Confirmed
Alternative Sites Provided and Inconvenience Reporting Channel Operated
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on September 27 that it had switched to a 24-hour emergency work system in response to the fire that occurred at the National Information Resources Service in Daejeon on September 26.
An emergency inspection of all systems operated by the ministry was also conducted. The ministry confirmed disruptions in the operation of the G4B (Government for Business) system, which is housed at the National Information Resources Service, and is providing information about alternative sites on its official website, as well as operating a channel for reporting inconveniences.
In order to prevent delays in the ministry’s support programs due to the suspension of connections with other systems affected by the fire, the ministry is working closely with related agencies to develop a range of response measures.
The ministry plans to maintain a 24-hour monitoring system until the situation is resolved. Thorough monitoring will be conducted through the control center. The ministry will continue to respond by establishing a cooperative system with related agencies.
