The headquarters visited Somangmojawon in Seo-gu, Daegu, and delivered holiday gift packages worth 5 million won to 30 low-income single-parent families with multiple children. Employees personally participated in packing and delivering the gifts, sharing their care and warmth.

In addition, wishing for the successful opening of the Pohang-Yeongdeok Line scheduled for this year, the headquarters donated 3 million won to the Yeongdeok County Office to support the housing stability of residents affected by last year’s large-scale wildfire in Yeongdeok County.

Yoo Hosik, head of the headquarters, stated, “It is meaningful to be able to share our hearts with neighbors in need for Chuseok,” and added, “We will continue to engage in sharing activities together with the local community in the future.”

This campaign simultaneously provided support for marginalized groups ahead of the holiday and for disaster recovery, further highlighting the public corporation’s commitment to social responsibility and coexistence with the community.

The abundance of Chuseok deepens through sharing. The Expressway Corporation’s “Sharing Warmth” initiative is opening the way for the local community to celebrate a warm and inclusive holiday together.
