Double-Digit Recruitment at Headquarters and Subsidiaries
Webzen announced on September 26 that it is recruiting applicants for its employment-linked internship program for the second half of this year.
Applications can be submitted through the official recruitment website from today until October 13. The results of the document screening will be individually notified online and via text message. Successful candidates will then go through online tests and practical and executive interviews for each division by the end of the year. Those selected will participate in a six-month internship starting in January next year. During the internship, salary and benefits will be provided at the same level as regular employees.
This open recruitment is available to anyone regardless of age or educational background. However, for certain positions such as global business, proficiency in foreign languages (including English, Japanese, and Chinese) is required. The recruitment covers 45 positions in areas such as game business, marketing, game planning and development, technology, and human resources. A total of double-digit number of candidates will be finally selected for positions at the headquarters and subsidiaries (including Webzen Redcore and Webzen Redman).
Currently, Webzen Redcore and Webzen Redstar are developing new massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs) based on Unreal Engine 5. Webzen Redcore's new title, 'R2 Origin,' was launched in Korea the previous day and is now preparing for overseas expansion in line with business strategy. Webzen Redstar is developing a new game utilizing the 'MU' intellectual property (IP), while Webzen Redn and Webzen Crevix are also preparing new titles in the role-playing game (RPG) genre.
A Webzen representative stated, "We are also continuously hiring experienced professionals for each division to secure outstanding talent in development and business fields," adding, "Detailed information regarding recruitment can be found on the official recruitment website."
