in National Institute of Environmental Research Proficiency Assessment

The Ulsan Institute of Health and Environment Research announced that it received a "satisfactory" rating in all categories in the "2025 Indoor Air Quality Analysis Proficiency Assessment" conducted by the National Institute of Environmental Research.

The "Indoor Air Quality Proficiency Test" is a system that evaluates the analytical capabilities for hazardous substances in indoor air to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results for environmental pollutants.

The assessment covers seven items, including benzene, toluene, styrene, and formaldehyde.

This evaluation is conducted annually for institutions such as city and provincial institutes of health and environment and private measurement agencies that inspect indoor air quality pollution. It aims to compare and assess each institution's testing and measurement capabilities using standard samples and their analysis results.

The Ulsan Institute of Health and Environment Research achieved an excellent result by receiving a "satisfactory" rating in all categories, thereby earning national recognition for the accuracy and reliability of its analysis results.

A representative from the institute stated, "Through this assessment, our institute has been recognized as an outstanding verification agency," adding, "We will continue to do our best to ensure that citizens can live healthily in pleasant and safe indoor environments through accurate and highly reliable testing and analysis."
