Resonating Together with Citizens
The Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (Director Lee Namil) will host the Independent Culture Festival, "Echoes of Remembrance: Speaking of Patriots and Veterans," at the Busan Citizens Park Lawn Plaza at 7 p.m. on September 27 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
This event will be held in conjunction with KNN's "Open Concert" and will feature a variety of programs on the special stage at Citizens Park, including the screening of a commemorative video for the 80th anniversary of liberation, performances by singers, and a Taegeukgi (Korean national flag) performance.
Additionally, for visitors attending the event, there will be experiential booths for families to enjoy, such as photo opportunities with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs character "Bobo" balloon, a Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Instagram follow event, tattoo experiences, and the distribution of fans and souvenirs.
Lee Namil, Director of the Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, stated, "It is meaningful to hold the second Independent Culture Festival under the theme of 'Echoes of Remembrance' at Busan Citizens Park to mark the 80th anniversary of liberation. I hope this event will provide an opportunity for citizens to reflect on the value of honoring patriots and veterans in their daily lives and to remember those who dedicated themselves to the country."
