The Financial Supervisory Service announced on September 26 that it had held the Insurance Professionals Examination Management Committee and finalized the list of successful candidates for the 48th Actuary and Loss Adjuster Second Examination.
In the second examination held from July 26 to 27, a total of 120 candidates passed the actuary exam, and 506 candidates passed the loss adjuster exam (50 in property, 111 in automobile, and 345 in personal injury). To pass the final examination, candidates must score at least 60 points in each of the five subjects within five years after passing the first examination.
The number of successful actuary candidates decreased by six compared to last year's 126, while the number of successful loss adjusters decreased by two from 508 last year. The top scorer's average score in the actuary exam was 86.47 points. For the loss adjuster exam, the top scorer's average scores by category were 77.56 points in property, 73.34 points in automobile, and 78.08 points in personal injury.
