2026 Annual Executive Appointments at Shinsegae Group
Choi Hunhak, CEO of SSG.com, was appointed as the new CEO of Chosun Hotel & Resort on September 26.

Born in 1972, Choi graduated from Inseong High School and the Department of Law at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies before joining Shinsegae in 2000.
He later served as Head of Marketing Team at Emart in 2015 and Head of Marketing at Emart in 2017, before becoming Head of Sales Division at SSG.com in 2023. In June last year, he was recognized for his expertise as a marketing specialist and was appointed CEO of SSG.com. Now, just over a year later, he is moving to lead the group's hotel business.
