JusTech, which previously won the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award in 2021, has now received recognition from a second government ministry, once again affirming its achievements in the commercialization of ICT-based technologies. This award was granted in recognition of the value of its technology commercialization model, which links government R&D projects with industry-academia cooperation.

JusTech is collaborating as a participating company in the Grand-ICT Research Center’s fifth sub-project, “Development of Data-Based Smart Sensors for Integrated Control of Linear Carrier Systems.”

This project aims to develop smart sensor technology capable of real-time monitoring and control of object movement in logistics automation processes. It is gaining attention as a technology that contributes to process efficiency and enhanced safety at the field level.

During the course of the project, JusTech achieved practical results such as linking employment opportunities for master’s-level professionals, technology transfer, and rapid commercialization. In particular, the company was highly evaluated for commercializing technology that reflects the needs of industrial sites into actual products. This is considered a representative example of technological innovation by small and medium-sized enterprises based on joint industry-academia research.

This project is part of the “Regional Intelligence Innovation Talent Development Program,” supervised by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP). It is a government-supported program centered on industry-academia cooperation, designed to promote digital transformation (DX) and technology commercialization among employees of local industries.
