The two leaders assessed that since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1989, the relationship between the two countries has steadily developed in various fields, including political affairs, the economy, and people-to-people exchanges. In particular, they agreed that bilateral trade has recently increased steadily, and that practical cooperation is expanding, as Korea has grown to become the second-largest investor among non-European Union member states in Poland through investments by Korean companies in high-tech industries.

The two leaders also acknowledged the ongoing development of defense industry cooperation between the two countries, especially centered around tanks, and agreed to further expand cooperation so that companies from both countries can achieve mutually beneficial results. President Lee, in particular, expressed hope that defense industry cooperation between the two countries would further expand through projects such as Poland's ongoing submarine program.

The two leaders exchanged views on regional situations, including the Korean Peninsula and Ukraine. President Nawrocki noted that, amid a range of international security issues, Korea’s hosting of a public Security Council debate to discuss technology and security issues such as artificial intelligence was timely and appropriate.

Additionally, the two leaders agreed to work together to elevate bilateral relations to a higher level through mutual visits.
