The Wolpi Camp is the fourth base of the Youth Cube initiative operated by the city, following Hanyang, Yedae, and Choji. It provides comprehensive support to young entrepreneurs from the early stages of their startups through to their growth phase.
Wolpi Camp is a five-story building consisting of a parking lot on the first floor, a co-working office and management office on the second floor, a startup tenant space on the third floor, a multipurpose room on the fourth floor, and a conference room on the fifth floor.
The city plans to offer a variety of support programs, including mentoring, investment linkage, marketing support, and educational programs, to help resident companies establish a foundation for early independence.
The city aims to expand its startup network centered around Youth Cube and to build a sustainable youth startup ecosystem by fostering collaboration with local universities, research institutes, and companies.
Lee Minguen, Mayor of Ansan, stated, "With the opening of Wolpi Camp, Ansan has taken another step forward as a true youth startup cluster city," adding, "We will continue to create diverse environments where young people can take on challenges and realize their potential."
