Jinan County to Hold "Health Gymnastics and Maisan Healthy Walking" Event on the 26th

Jinan Red Ginseng Festival at the Maisan Northern Rural Theme Park Main Stage

Jinan County in North Jeolla Province will host the "Exciting Health Gymnastics Presentation and Maisan Healthy Walking Competition" on September 26 at the main stage of the Maisan Northern Rural Theme Park during the Jinan Red Ginseng Festival.

According to the county on September 24, this event has been organized to promote a culture of healthy living among residents, with more than 1,500 local citizens expected to participate.

The health gymnastics presentation, which will begin at 12:50 p.m., is the culmination of over a year of gymnastics classes designed to invigorate the lives of seniors and help them maintain and improve their physical health.

During the presentation, approximately 230 participants from 12 teams will wear colorful uniforms and showcase their skills in various categories such as line dance and aerobics, performing to lively music including "Young You" and "Jeans Girl."

The Maisan Healthy Walking Competition, which will follow at 3:00 p.m., has been prepared to commemorate the Red Ginseng Festival and foster a healthy lifestyle culture. Members of the county's walking clubs, which are operated to promote public health, as well as festival visitors, will participate by walking together.

The walking route starts at the Maisan Northern Rural Theme Park, proceeds to Sayangje, then to the Masterpiece Hall, and returns to the theme park, covering a round-trip distance of 1.5 kilometers. Any resident or visitor may join the walking competition without prior registration, and promotional items will be given to participants at the turnaround point.
